Welcome to Our Barony of Endless Hills!

Hello and welcome to The Barony of Endless Hills, a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events that may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more.

We are within the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, located in the Eastern area of Pennsylvania between the New York border and just south of Interstate 80 (from north to south). We encompass the following counties: Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming, Wayne, Monroe, Pike, Bradford, Susquehanna, and parts of Sullivan. Some of the major towns within our borders are Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Hazleton, Nanticoke, Pittston, Tunkhannock, Clarks Summit, Carbondale, Forest City, Honesdale, Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg, Milford, Montrose, Towanda, and Susquehanna.

The Barony of Endless Hills is a Harassment and Bully Free Zone. Click here for information.

A Message from their Excellencies, Magge & Nicolo

Nicolo dei Gaetani & Magge Illfoster, 7th Baronage of Endless Hills

To our friends and neighbors, do we Magge & Nicolo send our greetings:

Our sincerest thanks to Endless Hills for your faith in us. We look forward to continuing the tradition laid down by our predecessors. We are at YOUR service. We work for you. Our door will always remain open for any and all. To us, Endless Hills is a diverse community, full of some of the finest artisans, teachers, & fighters that the Kingdom AEthelmearc has to offer. It’s not just one person that makes us, but the community as a whole. We are a safe space for all who wish it. Only as a community can we continue to grow. We are here for you. While wandering through a thrift shop one day, her Excellency, Magge found something that truly defined what we wanted our reign to be about. She found a portrait that reads:

I shall pass thru this world but once.
Any good thing, therefore, I can do, or any KINDNESS I can show to ANY human being, let me do it now.
Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall no pass this way again.
-Stephen Grellet

Magge and I thank you all and look forward to working with you all, and to those just discovering us for the first time, welcome and well met!
In Service, we Humbly Remain
Magge & Nicolo
